Three Questions from the Marketing Made Easy Workshop

Yesterday, our marketing team held the first Marketing Made Easy Workshop in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Throughout the presentation, business owners had several questions about how to make their marketing more effective, so we chose the top three questions to share with everyone.

Where do I start?
We suggest starting with business cards and a brochure. These are two things that represent you and your business that you can leave with potential new clients.
What's the best way to manage my social media?
We suggest holding a weekly brainstorming meeting for your social media posts and designating a point person to be in charge. We also use a free service called Hootsuite to schedule and analyze our weekly social media postings. Best of all, it's free!
How do I choose which advertising avenue is right for me?
It's hard to recommend just one or two options, since each one can be effective! We recommend asking yourself these four questions before choosing one:
- Think about your purpose. What is the result you are looking for? Do you want to increase your brand awareness? Or provide a special offer to increase sales?
- Know your audience.Is your potential customer in their car most of the day? Do they have time to read the paper in the morning? Thinking about who you are trying to target can help determine which avenue to use.
- Determine your budget. How much money do you have to spend? All advertising has it's price, so be sure to carefully weigh all of your options.
- Make sure there is a call to action. What do you want the potential customer to do? Make sure your message is clear and concise.
